The vaccine clinic at Centro Medico Santagostino provides all major vaccinations for adults and children:
- pediatric vaccines: hexavalent vaccine (tetanus, diphtheria, whooping cough, polio, hepatitis B, Haemophilus b), MMR (measles, rubella, mumps), pneumococcal and meningococcal B and C, hepatitis A, antigastrite rotavirus, chicken pox;
- Prophylactic vaccines for international travel: cholera, typhoid, hepatitis A, meningitis (A, B, C, Y, W135); during the consultation the malaria prophylaxis can also be administered with a medication prescription;
- other vaccines: tetanus, diphtheria, rabies, hepatitis A and B, influenza, measles, rubella, mumps, chicken pox, pneumococcal, meningococcal, HPV Papilloma Virus.
Vaccines are administered by appointment in Via Panfilo Castaldi 6 in Milan on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 16 to 20.
Vaccines are administered by an expert medical assistant registered with IPASVI (Board of Professional Nurses).
The consultation prior to the vaccination serves to rule out any contraindications such as allergies, major disease, pregnancy, or the use of any medications that may interfere with the vaccine.
Patients are asked to remain in the facility, where a doctor is always present, for 15 minutes to ensure their safetly and rapid medical intervention in the rare case they should feel unwell following the vaccination.
